B. Entry Requirements
a General
i. Candidates should possess the NECO/WAEC Certificate or the GCE Ordinary Level, with credit level passes in five (5) subjects, including English Language and subjects relevant to the course, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.
ii. Please note that November/December 2009 examination results are not valid for admission in the 2009/2010 academic year.

b. Departmental Requirements

1 Mass Communication Five credit level passes must include Literature in English and one Science subject and at least a pass in Mathematics.
2 Psychology Five credit level passes must include a science subject (Biology/Agric. Sci. / Health Science) and at least a pass in Mathematics.
3 Sociology (Social Work) Five credit level passes must include History or Government and at least a pass in Mathematics.

Faculty of Law
Five credit level passes must include Literature in English and one Science subject plus a pass in Mathematics.


Faculty of Arts

1 Music Pre knowledge of music is compulsory

Faculty of Management Sciences

S/N Department Requirement
1 Accountancy Five credit level passes must include Mathematics and Economics
2 Banking & Finance Five credit level passes must include Mathematics and Economics
3 Marketing O’level credit passes must include Mathematics and Economics
4 Public Administration Five credit level passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics plus any two Social Science subjects from any of these – Accounting, Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Office Practice and Secretarial Duties.
5 Cooperative Economics and Management Five credit level passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics plus two other relevant subjects from Commerce , Accounting, Business, Government, Principles of Accounting.

Faculty of Education

1 Vocational Technical Studies Five credit level passes to include English, Mathematics or Physics
2 Education Management and Policy Five credit level passes to include English Language with a minimum of pass in Mathematics.
3 Early Childhood and Primary Education Five credit level passes including English Language and other equivalent certificates.

Faculty of Natural Sciences
Five credit level passes to include English Language and Mathematics with 3 relevant Science subjects
